In weeks 1-3, we met Aiden Tyler in chapters 1-5 of his new & original real-time story, AIDEN TYLER, QUARAN-TEEN. Aiden discovered that COVID-19 is a real thing, experienced pandemonium at a toilet paper-free store, “saw” his friends and even met someone from Denmark. He even taught us to find the joy in our current circumstance. What else can we learn from Aiden?

This is currently week 4 of the series (April 14, 2020). This is the perfect virtual get-away for a fun and relatable escape from your own quarantines!

Access to these databases requires a password.  Check your gmail accounts (I e-mailed passwords on March 30).  If you can’t find it, just e-mail Mrs. Miller (the librarian) at mmiller2@kpbsd.k12.ak.us to request the password, or call the SLED help line at 800-440-2919.  There are a lot of great books on these sites so check them out!!

Don’t forget about the biggest digital library available to KPBSD students!!  Sora provides access to KPBSD’s digital library, AND to the Alaska Digital Library, through the Sora App!!  All you need is your student ID and password.  Watch the “How to use Sora” video in the Did You Know section of this blog for instructions.  If you have questions, you can always e-mail Mrs. Miller (the librarian) at mmiller2@kpbsd.k12.ak.us
